Port 10000
WebminWebmin web-based Linux/Unix server administration
Full name:
Webmin
What is port 10000?
Port 10000 is used by Webmin, a web-based interface for administering Linux/Unix servers — managing DNS, Apache, MySQL, user accounts, and more. Always use HTTPS and restrict access via an IP whitelist. In 2019 a backdoor was discovered in a specific Webmin build (CVE-2019-15107) allowing unauthenticated RCE. The companion Usermin interface (user-level webmail) runs on port 20000.
